Coming next: GO School

The first English-and-STEAM elementary school in Syunik.

In spring 2026 we poured the foundation of GO School — a private elementary school in Goris where subjects are taught through English, not just about it. Content and Language Integrated Learning, with STEAM woven through every grade.

Phase 1 is under construction now: foundation, first floor, two classrooms, kitchen, dining hall, restrooms.

Our projects.

Alongside the courses at GO Center, the foundation runs projects that widen access and strengthen education across the Goris community.

English as a Means of Communication

"GO Krtojakh" Educational Foundation implemented "English as a Means of Communication" project within the framework of the "Local Government for the Development of the Goris Community" project implemented by Goris Press Club NGO, in cooperation with Eurasia Partnership Foundation, with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID).The project aimed to support the improvement of the quality of English instruction in the Goris community, as well as to develop the abilities of young people , to increase their competences in the labour market. The difficulties and obstacles of the English language teaching in Goris community were mapped, a package of recommendations was made, with an action plan aimed at improving the quality of English language teaching. Professional trainings were provided to 15 English teachers in the Goris community.

GO Scholarship

Free English instruction at GO Center. It's open to school and university students of Goris community who meet a need-based criterion: orphaned by the Artsakh war, living with a disability, from a low-income or displaced family, a border-village resident, or a veteran’s child. The aim is equal access, and stronger English across Goris.

Board President

Member of the HR Association of Armenia and an affiliate member of the Armenian Institute of Directors community. Graduate of the Matena International School of Leadership and a board member of the Matena Alumni Club. Emma holds a Master's degree in Sociology. 10 years of work experience in HR, specifically within the banking, financial, and IT sectors, working with large and small teams.

Founder and CEO of "GO" Center for Languages and Skills, founder of "GO Krtojakh" Educational Foundation, Cofounder of "GO" ScholarshipUSA State Dep. Alumna of FLEX and TEA Fulbright. Gayane holds a Master's Dergee in Romance and Germanic Philology, she is an English language trainer, English and Russian interpreter. Gayane is. a visionary with a clear aim to contribute to the development of her region and country , she is a life-long education devotee.

LIlit Ohanyan is a founding member of the GO Krtojakh educational foundation. Lilit is the head of Parmacy Department of Goris Medical Center. She holds a degree in pharmaceutics. Lilit is an education devotee and one of the earliest supporters of GO Krtojakh.

A former product management officer at POLITICO Tamar O'Brien Barsamian is a third-year student at the University of Maine School of Law and will be joining a law firm outside of Boston, Massachusetts, upon her graduation in May 2027. Prior to law school.

Board Member

Thomas O'Brien is the Head of Sales at Polycarbin, where he partners with research institutions, biotechnology companies, and pharmaceutical organizations to reduce the environmental impact of scientific research. Since joining Polycarbin in 2020, he has held roles spanning sustainability, operations, and commercial leadership, bringing a unique perspective on the intersection of business, innovation, and environmental stewardship.

Sherry Klee

Board Member

A Professor at Grand Valley State University, Teacher education and international education. Dr. Klee serves as the International Director for COST (Consortium for Overseas Student Teachers) where she places pre-service teachers in schools abroad from 18 U.S. universities to complete their student teaching requirements. She also leads two study/teach abroad experiences each year as well as coordinating international exchange programs.

Programs.

GO Center for Languages and Skills is where the foundation’s teaching happens. Most courses are taught entirely in English from day one, designed around the way our students actually learn — lots of speaking, lots of practice, real cultural material.

STEAM, English, and entrepreneurship in the Syunik mountains. Campers build, prototype, and present. The Entrepreneurship Investigator (ESI) track is for older teens.
